If you’ve not been following me on Instagram, than you’ve been in the dark as to why Grease Girl has been so dark lately—I moved to Texas! Mr. GG & I purchased our first home—packed, and packed and PACKED our home and shop up (read… shops are HARD TO MOVE!)—and made the long trek from Los Angeles to Texas. Our new home couldn’t suit us better and I can’t wait any longer to share a few peeks into it. Watch the video above for a walk around the massive garage/shop section which is still undergoing organization. I’d be further along out there but summer heat is no joke out here in Texas! Stude wasn’t too happy about the move, she puked out a bunch of trans and diff oil, but I think once I get her settled in and pay a little attention to her she’ll be just fine. It was sad to say goodbye to so many great friends and car peeps in LA, but I’m excited to welcome them all out to the “ranch” and know there will be lots of new friends and plenty of good times to be made out here. First order of business we’ll be getting a truck… because home ownership & Texas. Likely it’ll be something at least a little old and fun, so stay tuned for more of that and other exciting stuff coming! 5 Responses JP Kalishek August 21, 2018 Congrats on the move. I have to say, I wish I was still in Texas, though I like having a house of my own, and being closed to where I grew up. I’m a yooper again. Reply Kristin Cline August 22, 2018 Thanks JP! Reply JP Kalishek August 22, 2018 about the only thing I don’t miss is the heat. Though enough shade and space it can be bearable. Like I mentioned on the Tubes of You, I sorta know about where you are at. I used to ride around that area every so often and recall going past some of the old training airfield sites. Closer to north of Ft Worth is a WW1 site but it is nothing now but a marker sign. I used to ride up to Rock City Burgers in Bridgeport. Great homemade potato chips. I can recommend it. steve nash August 26, 2019 hey we missed speedweek we were moving from virginia beach to phoenix we stopped hot spring,ar then on the way to waco we probably drove by you on the to austin threw the 290 and to phoenix brenda went to see jodi and family in jacksonville cori is 34,micah 32,and hannah is 29 she lives in chandler ,az 30 miles from us cuts hair at cuttroat in scottsdale she had 2 surgeries in 4 days in nov related to her cystic fibrosis i enjoy reading about and the martin so see you later bye san Reply Kristin Cline July 13, 2021 Hey Steve!
