Comment if you know it’s true🤨 I went from p Comment if you know it’s true🤨

I went from proudly finishing my 30 day challenge to multiple work trips, city council meetings, and home projects needs that have kept me out of the garage the past couple weeks. I’m 👀eying those holiday breaks though to make some accelerated progress⚡️And I’ve got all the parts in for next steps needed!!! 👊👊 to all those pushing forward even though at times you’re overwhelmed.

#projectcar #dailyprogressclub #motivation
I have to pause a beat when I hear a homeowner say I have to pause a beat when I hear a homeowner say they don’t want to have to do any work to their home. I guess I’m weird like that ⚡️I love our WW2 era base building-turned-home/shop! But it is a labor of love.

I’ve wanted glass blocks my whole life… excited to put the finishing touches on these after my dad and brother did most of the work!

Which type of of homeowner are you?
Surprise, surprise⚡️Ends up a lot can be accom Surprise, surprise⚡️Ends up a lot can be accomplished when one continues to chip away at it! This is my final #30hoursin30days update and I’m so pleased at what I was able to accomplish during my 32 hours worked this past month.

Undercarriage was finished! Parts are now going back in! Finishing bits have been researched and ordered! Studie is getting so much closer to my goal of having her back on the road by the end of 2025.

Thanks again to @barbary.1983 for the inspiration on this #DPC challenge! It’s helped me stay in it, even when life is full of so many other things I want and have to do. New habits can be a struggle to get started, but it’s fun to look back on all that you can accomplish! Also, thanks to the all the others in my life who inspire me by living into their passion ♥️
Do you hate parts tracking down & ordering as much Do you hate parts tracking down & ordering as much as me? Also, who else keeps car notebooks? I have a separate one for each of my cars.

#30hoursin30days is nearly over… I’ve almost reached my hours worked goal!⚡️

#projectcar #dpc
Y’all, this is it⚡️parts are going back into Y’all, this is it⚡️parts are going back into Studie! It’s been a long time coming - nearly 2 years since I started taking parts out!

I can’t wait to get her back on the road and will continue this #dailyprogressclub to keep progressing moving. The changes I’m making right now were so needed, she’s going to be one happy Studebaker.

I’m just curious for the rest of you, how long do major car projects take?
I’m a sucker for a good hardware store & love th I’m a sucker for a good hardware store & love that there’s even more of ‘em to be found in the country! Who else loves a good hardware store?!

For day 19 of #dailyprogressclub I shopped for new hardware and painted the final bits that mount my leaf springs. Next day in the garage I’m putting something BACK IN!!! I can’t wait!
Also, I’m glad that I cleaned and kept some things, because all that comes in handy. As-is with selecting need-to-replace items for my rear suspension and transmission/crossmember stuff set me back 80 bucks! Good hardware isn’t cheap.

Daily progress club update⚡️Needed to get to m Daily progress club update⚡️Needed to get to my bolts and things that had been soaking for 2 days.

Rusty stuff I soaked in vinegar, gunky stuff I soaked in carb cleaner.

Now that everything is clean I’ll make my list of bolts I want to replace.

I store this stuff in ziplocks when I remove it from the car and label the bag with where it came from - otherwise it’s hard to remember what goes where! I took pics of everything before I dumped together to clean so I can separate into where it goes when I’m putting Studie back together.

Just a little this or that✨Doesn’t feel like m Just a little this or that✨Doesn’t feel like much, but this stuff needs to be done before the exciting part! It’s coming… and I can’t wait!

I’m 15 days in to my #30hoursin30days challenge, or 50%. But with 60% of hours complete 🙌 Feeling good! But seriously, even this much work in my busy schedule has meant saying no to numerous things, skipping homemade dinners and leaving laundry stacking up 😅 For now, the sacrifice is worth it.

Day 12 in the books ⚡️painting and protecting Day 12 in the books ⚡️painting and protecting the outside of my fuel tank. I’ve already taken it to get professionally cleaned on the inside and checked over👌

I’m eager to start putting stuff back in, but still some details to get accomplished. #dailyprogressclub keeping the momentum going!

Feeling accomplished⚡️and tired. But so proud Feeling accomplished⚡️and tired. But so proud of the progress.
When I look back at the video I took 3 weeks ago, how Studebaker’s undercarriage looked when I started, it’s hard to believe I accomplished all this with scrubber pads, wire brushes, degreaser, a spray bottle of water, paint and a WHOLE LOT of elbow grease in order to accomplish this all with Studie stationary on jackstands.

Not many people do this in this way, but it’s where Studie and I were at and what she needed. But it’s DONE and I feel pretty fucking proud about it.

Now to keep on keeping on, we just created the mountain and now I can start putting Studie back together! Sticking with the #30dayprojectcarchallenge to keep myself on task, but so far we’re making damn good progress with 15 hours in 5 days. Though, the 45 hours I invested prior to starting the challenge during my garage vacation gave me a running start!
Day 4 folks… making good headway!⚡️ I hustl Day 4 folks… making good headway!⚡️

I hustled to get alllll the rest of the Rust Encapsulator on Studie… and I did it, but just!

5 hours logged, making a total of 7 hours in my #30daycarprojectchallenge and I’m off to a big band dance. Tomorrow,🤞I’ll complete the undercarriage!
Day 3 of #30dayprojectcarchallenge!⚡️It’s a Day 3 of #30dayprojectcarchallenge!⚡️It’s a short one, but bit-by-bit Studie is coming back to life!

The products I’m using were influenced by Repair Geek’s “Don’t Use POR-15” video and are Eastwood’s Platinum Rust Encapsulator and Raptor’s rubberized undercoating.

Looking forward to the weekend and getting more progress!
